    CEII COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:

Alert:  As of February 20, 2004, the subject of homosexual pedophilia is temporarily banned.  It has become too inflammatory a subject, and in the interest of preserving the community, it cannot be discussed here.

*According to our guidelines, the remedy for personal attacks is to delete the entire thread. *People who join for the sole purpose of harassing the board will be summarily banned.
My apologies to those who start legitimate Issues threads only to have them deleted as some members carry out their personal agendas.
Extreme personal attacks against fellow members are not permitted. A personal attack an insult directed at a specific member. Negative statements directed at a group of people, including members of a political party, etc. are not personal attacks. If a member believes that he or she has been personally attacked, then a complaint should be filed on the Alert Mangement page.
Although we are open to criticism, the repeated insulting of anyone, including the management team, can result in banning. It is expected that any member who finds him or herself in "The Cooler" will return to the board and contribute substantively to the board as usual, in an adult manner, without dwelling on past "infractions" or "wrongs". If you want to complain to us personally, do so by email.

The complaint must include a thread name and post number, or direct link where the alleged attack can be found.

  • You can use the Alert Management link on the Left Menu
  • The management of this site reserves the right to take any action  necessary to faciliate the continued success of the community . Your indulgence is requested.
  • New members who appear to join for the sole purpose of inflaming the bb may be banned.
  • When making an opening post, the member's name must be posted with  the thread.  Seemingly anonymously  threads will be deleted in their entirety.
  • Links to information on sex and sexuality  not allowed
  • Swearing or colorful language not allowed
  • Posts of, or Links to graphic pictures (deaths, maimings etc.) not allowed
  • Flame wars are prohibited. A flame war is a series of reciprocal insults between members. The remedy for flame wars is the deletion of all posts in the war. The use of some less offensive words will be tolerated if not directed at a specific poster. http://groups.msn.com/CurrentEventsII/memberzone.msnw?action=get_message&mview=1&ID_Message=585179&all_topics=1/FONT/FONT/LI
  • Please refrain from personal comments; do not launch a thread with the name of a member, except in cases of sincere friendship, or on the Alert Management page
Posts that serve no purpose but to attack a poster will be deleted.
  • Continual flaming may result in all parties involved being sent to THE COOLER for 24 hours  for a "cooling off" period. Repeated groundings may result in an longer grounding, or even a permanent ban.
  • Avoid confusion when cutting and pasting. Differentiate your words from copied material by the use of italics, quotation marks, or alternate colored text. Please cite your sources with a link. It is the responsibility of the member, when posting from a source, to cite the source. If the member/poster neglects to cite the source for whatever reason. it is reasonable for other members to make a polite request for a link or citation. We ask that you cut and paste the entire url so that we can see where the link leads, without creating a link .
  • Do not link to any other group. This may result in a permanent ban. See our advertising policy at left
  • Use only one (1) nickname. No, we cannot always tell, but it's only fair to your fellow members to let them know to whom they are speaking.
  • Use all of the Fora for discussing various topics.  Please launch new threads in the appropriate forum.  Threads not launched in the appropriate forum may be moved.

  • Check the Board Menu for other fora
  • A word regarding the posting of pictures or images; also known as bandwidth theft: Before uploading images into your message, right click on the photo you want, save it to your computer, and then upload from there. If you do not follow these steps, you may be infringing upon a copyright. You can test whether the photo/image is hotlinked after you post by right clicking on the image. It should have MSN in the address. If it shows a different source, one must delete it and do it over. Also, give credit to the source, please.
  • Calluna recommends two sites that allow hotlinking. "I generally opt to use a site such as imageshack or photobucket that expressly allow you to hotlink to their site (they even provide the code to copy and paste so you can do it), and so they get the credit due to them, I use their clickable thumbnails, which is what those sites list as the preferred method of sharing on boards.
